SPONSOREDEasy-To-Make Smoothie Bowl Recipes That Don’t Cost A Fortune
Drooling over another Insta-worthy bowl of frozen fruit, star-shaped bananas and about 10 thousand sprinkles and drizzles? While we love them, some of those gourmet works-of-art smoothie bowls are near impossible to make, never mind time-consuming and expensive!
No worries – we’ve created two really easy smoothie-bowl recipes with versatile, nutritious toppings that are as good for you as they are post-worthy.
When it comes to getting your smoothie-bowl texture right, use frozen fruit, not too much liquid and a good blender! We used the new Clicks Smartlife Super Blender to make our two smoothie bowls with very similar ingredients: one chocolate and one berry! Both packed with antioxidants, potassium, protein and vitamins.
To make the berry of version of this smoothie bowl, simply leave out the chocolate nut butter and cacao powder and replace them with mixed frozen berries (most supermarkets stock this) and decorate with the same toppings, some fresh strawberries or any other berries you can find in season.
